I need a hero

An HTML hero. Someone who knows CSS and the problems implementing it. More importantly how to get around such problems.

I rebuilt the Official French Fries Pages, updating the code but keeping much of the site's 1996-ness. The pages look OK in DreamWeaver and FireFerret but in IE6 the body text is dropped below the container and in Safari the left-hand navigation menu (all CSS, no scripts) doesn't show. WHY?! more importantly, how do I fix this?

In other news, I still feel shitty, my cat is much happier having had me here all week, the guy from the coffee shop's wife finally squeezed out the kid, and the crap grocery store around the corner finally stocks Absolut peach... which I can't drink next week.

Thanks. I've refreshed, rebuilt and repaired index.__ more than a dozen times in the past week. I not only left the test directory in the path when I recovered the original footer line, I managed to remove the trackers as well. Dumbass me. Sorted, ta.

Now to figure out how this Sitemap XML shit works and then do more with the nav menu. That oughta keep me busy through November.
